8.2 acres Species rich meadow, nr Boscastle, Cornwall

Post by TonyBayliss »

8.2 acres of species rich stunning meadow approximately 2.5 miles from Boscastle. This field has just been included on the Priority Habitat Index (though this won't show on their map for a month or two).
The field has roadside access, a stream, a small area of willow woodland, a boggy area on the stream side, but the majority of about 7 acres is species rich grassland.
This field has stunning views across the north coast of Cornwall and out to the Atlantic. It is situated in an AONB. It has been used for seed collection by the Devon Wildlife Trust and has been managed purely for its biodiversity in the last twenty years and had not been ploughed in at least the twenty years previous to this.
It is a rare and beautiful field and the owners would only like to sell it to someone who would maintain it in its current condition.
Price on application.
