Do you want to learn how to scythe? Its a great way of controlling long grass - quiet and a first-class workout!
The West Devon Meadows Group has organised a course for beginners near St Giles on the Heath on Wednesday, May 24th. All equipment will be provided and they'll be the opportunity to purchase a 'beginners scythe kit.'
The course will start at 9.30am and end at 4pm. Its being held on a beautiful former farmstead that is now managed for wildlife.
