Help improve our National Parks and AONBs

The government is currently carrying out a consultation on the Glover Review which looked at the state of England's protected landscapes, our National Parks and AONBs, and how to make them better. One of the review’s key conclusions was that our National Parks are failing nature and that nature recovery should be their primary purpose. If government is to meet its target of halting the decline of nature by 2030, then National Parks have a critical role to play. To do that they need a clear purpose, increased resource and better governance.

As people passionate about meadows and wildlife, many of us living in protected landscapes, we all want them to be richer in nature. Please can you take a few minutes to fill in the government’s survey to let them know we care. To help, here’s the link to the RSPB’s suggestions for how to complete the survey, either in 5 or 15 minutes depending on how much time you can spare.
