65.50 acres of SSSI designated, low-lying grazing marshes and ancient water meadows, that provides habitat for wintering wildfowl and wader birds as a feeding site and a high-water roost. Species include black-tailed godwit, lapwing, dunlin, redshank, snipe, curlew and ruff.
