Moor Meadows is delighted to release a new wildflower ID video. It’s a detailed look at some of the key wildflowers you may find in a species-rich meadow in Devon, with botanist Hannah Gibbons. A really good introduction for beginners, covering 19 wildflowers. We filmed Hannah at Challacombe Farm on Dartmoor, which opens for Open Meadows on 18th June to 2nd July (on a self-guided trail). Hannah Gibbons is an ecologist and has been working in the conservation sector for 18 years and for the majority of that time has been working for charities (such as Devon Wildlife Trust, RSPB and National Trust) carrying out botanical and habitat surveys. Hannah has run several plant training workshops for Moor Meadows.
