Moor Meadows is delighted that renowned ecologist George Peterken, author of Meadows, the definitive guide, is once again returning to Devon. This talk is a collaboration with South Devon AONB’s Life on the Edge Project.

Learn about: The history of meadows and their ecological importance. George will also talk about the wood meadows project he's involved with and there's also a talk from South Devon meadow owner Desley White, on the restoration and management of their wildflower meadow, using cows.
Moor Meadows came into being after George gave a talk on Dartmoor, in 2015. As interest in meadows continues to grow across Devon and beyond, Moor Meadows founded the Meadow-Makers Network. The vision is that other regional groups will form - South Devon Meadows - using the Forum as the communications platform.
