Hay cut with smaller machinery

Post by ThomasBeale »

Hello

We are newly managing 3 meadows outside Buckfastleigh, and looking for contractors who can come with smaller machinery this month for a hay cut. Despite several promising leads since spring we still don't have anyone lined up. The land itself is I think a pretty straightforward cut but the access is down a relatively narrow bridal way with overhanging trees, so very large tractors pulling newer machinery can't get this far. Any contacts gratefully received!

Thank you!
Tom

Hi Tom , try Adrian Ball who has recently been added to Moormeadows contractors list. He has been a great help to me in the maintenance of my meadows . Regards Philip Brown , Bickington

Hi,
There are some listed on the Moor Meadows website. https://moormeadows.org.uk/information/ ... ntractors/

Let us know how you get on, as this is a frequent request

Thanks

Unfortunately Adrian hasn’t been able to help but thanks for posting the contractors page, I’d missed that
