I'm guessing that 20 acres of purple moorgrass (without a dump of artificial fertilisers) is not going to bring in much of an income? Does anyone have thoughts on that?

If you are going to mow, do it very soon, as it looks as though you have wildflowers already coming through. Use the mower at its highest setting. But I would be inclined to wait and see this year - the sward looks quite interesting to me (maybe oxeye daisy and yarrow present?)

Part of my meadow is dominated by creeping buttercup (cb). Apart from couch grass and creeping bent, nothing else grows there.
