Wood you believe It!

A veteran oak in our hedgerow , hollow and hanging on almost by the bark ,notice the fern growing above. Talk about the green man im sure there is a face there. There are also the almost fossilised remains of 7 tree stumps in the hedgerow ,all cut at the same hight .I found from ancestry research a ...

Can you see the Dragonfly? Had such fun as it led me a merry dance through the meadow - a ruthless predator from the age of the dinosaurs 🦕. Such camouflage. Yes that is creeping thistle .

So many underrated meadow makers

From moles to rabbits to ivy our meadows are part of a much greater interconnected web of life. I can never resist collecting a handfull of molehill spoil , perfect for onsite tilling. Ivy in my view a joy to behold , so good for birds and bees

Historic orchard meadow, Denbury

Some of our meadow pictures near Denbury. Joined moormeadows this year . 8 acres owned for over 80 years never ploughed or intensively farmed. Site was formerly an ancient orchard. Diverse hedges ,flora and fauna. Some pics attached.
